As you well know, the fields at Irwin J. Lambka Park on Cloudview are having an extreme makeover of their own to get them ready for the season. In order to facilitate the growth of the grass we are asking that all coaches, players, family and friends to not use the park fields for practices. By reducing traffic on the fields, the newly generated grass will sprout out in no time at all. Coaches seen practicing on these fields will have their alloted practice session time revoked. In addition, we are asking everyone to not hit balls against the fence at the park so that we can enjoy the new fencing for a long time. Hitting balls against the fence stretches the fencing and it cannot be fixed. It has to be replaced at great expense to the league. Trememdous time and care have been given to ensure that the fields will be in great shape to start the season, let's maintain them for as long as we can.
